This position provides technical and analytical support services for acquisition, engineering and integration of avionics and other mission systems to the Switzerland F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program in Lexington Park, MD. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

* Responds to direction from company manager/supervisor. Provides, supports and complies with a variety of company activities (e.g. required/contractual training, special projects, proposals, data calls, etc.).

* Analyze program requirements, status, and schedules, and perform technical research and analysis to support various aspects of FMS programs

* Reviewing procurement specifications and data packages, Test and Evaluation (T&E) suitability/supportability documentation, reviewing technical recommendations on Engineering Changes; Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directive kit incorporation

* Participate in technical working groups to resolve engineering issues, monitor the progress of Software Configuration Set (SCS) development and certification efforts, maintain an SCS requirements tracking matrix, participate in the analysis and development of System Operational Requirements (SORs), Impact Assessments (IAs), and System Anomaly reports (SARs)

* Develop appropriate acquisition and engineering documentation in accordance with applicable directives provided by the government

* Coordinate, support and attend program management reviews, technical coordination meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS and OCONUS, as required

Education/Experience: A BS or BA degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline from an accredited college or university with at least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline. This must include a minimum of two (2) out of four (4) years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning in a DoD major weapon system program to include specific knowledge of FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs.

Allowable Substitution: AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of related experience is required (8 total years); OR an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement (10 total years).

Specific Experience:

Knowledge of F-18 avionic systems is required.

Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office suite is required.

Familiarity with NAVAIR security/technical transfer Policies is required.
