Position Description:
Role Summary:
Assist in the execution of the production schedule by utilizing Epicor 9 to ensure maximum productivity through timely job release and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in material management by providing input on purchase part minimums and minimum inventory levels.
• Review material requirements to assure adequate inventories to accommodate production schedules and customer service needs by maintain proper info in Epicor 9.
• Maintain production schedules and update as required in order to provide Production, Sales and Management personnel with timely information regarding the status of customers’ orders.
• Work closely with all key players within the organization by providing informational updates as required.
• Release Jobs for picking and work with buyers as necessary to ensure materials are available in timely manner.
• Participate in meetings as required to provide feedback on production schedules, requirements and other important procedures related to manufacturing operations and the materials function.
• Make changes and adjustments as necessary to scheduled Jobs affected by Engineering Change Orders.
• Work closely with Master Scheduler and Materials Manager during new product development as it relates to Manufacturing and Service.
• Ensure production and other schedule requirements are on time and on budget.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets as necessary on revenue, scheduled shipment detail and Job release.
• Be the liaison between Minneapolis plant and Lyons plant for production updates and schedule changes.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Position Requirements:
Education and Experience:
• 2+ years of college or technical institute courses.
• 2-5 years of applicable experience.
• Epicor 9 experience a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
