Production Scheduler

Our client who is based in the East Midlands area is looking to employ a Production Scheduler/Expeditor to join them on a month rolling contract basis. Candidates MUST be available for a start ASAP. Please see exact requirement below:

The purpose of the role is to provide planning and scheduling in support of the STM maintenance programme. The STM Production Scheduler/Expediter provides the primary communication channel between the Operations and Planning departments in support of the detailed aircraft doc day plans. The position also provides support for:

• Project plan data input
• Raise MWO
• Spares progression
• LITS data input
• Planning support

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture from the Operations department, the information required to update and amend the aircraft plans.
• Assist with the update of the aircraft specific doc-day-plans (aircraft plan) to include all additional items identified in the aircraft maintenance Statement of Work, post 30 day pre-input meeting
• Support the update and amendment of the aircraft specific plan post maintenance start.
• Capture from other departments and stakeholders the information required to update and amend the aircraft plan.
• Assist in project management activities as requested.
• Raise aircraft work orders.
• Support the raising of aircraft Maintenance Work Packs as requested.
• Spares progression.
• Carry out additional tasking as requested by the Planning Manager.

Core Competencies:

It is essential that candidates have the following core competencies:

• Proficient and experienced in the use of MS Project and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent keyboard skills

 It is desirable that candidates have the following core competencies:

• Project management
• Planning within an aircraft maintenance organisation
• Contribute to business improvement initiatives
• LITS experience
