Within the Project Structures Group the PA/QA Engineer is an integral member of the core product team along with the Responsible Engineer (RE) the Product Team Leader / Project Manager (PTL).
All supporting personnel M & P, Procurement, Production Engineering, Production Planning, AIT Assembly, AIT Test, EVT, QA, QC etc. form part of the wider integrated team.
In this role the PA/QA Engineer is responsible for the PA / Quality aspects relating to the Structures and equipment from what is often termed "Cradle to Grave".
In many respects being responsible for all Quality matters during the product lifecycle the role is more akin to a Project PA Managers role but also encompasses aspects and activities usually more closely associated with Quality Assurance (QA) and Procurement Quality. However the role presents opportunities to prepare and provide a quality status and regular reporting to higher management and at customer level.
