Process Optimization Analyst

Position description

The Technics Development team is part of SWISS Technics and centrally addresses, coordinates and executes divisional activities like projects, business analysis or continuous improvement. Our scope also includes application management & support as well as supporting management with the definition and implementation of the SWISS Technics strategy.

Together with the four colleagues in the team the jobholder drives and supports SWISS Technics in optimizing its processes by eliminating waste and applying continuous improvement methods. Specifically using the KAIZEN methodology, which has been in use throughout SWISS for many years in the meantime. For example, due to our continuous improvement activities we managed to reduce the need of paper drastically, increased warehouse logistics efficiency or found ways to reduce complexity and thus workload in many administrative processes.

The Process Optimization Analyst also ensures that guidelines are adhered to when documenting processes and supports the organization in doing so including the modelling of processes in the according tool.

Your Duties

* KPO (KAIZEN Promotion Officer) within SWISS Technics supporting all departments in their improvement activities and actively pushing them forward while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
* Planning and execution support for KAIZEN workshops including training of workshop members
* Co-moderates full KAIZEN workshops and is capable of independent moderation of certain modules or specific workshops. After gaining experience, also leads full workshops
* Ensuring measures defined during continuous improvement activities are followed up and implemented. Taking lead in implementation, if scope goes beyond line organization capabilities
* Handling of improvement suggestions; identify topics with most improvement potential. Ensure quick wins are taken advantage of and define action plan for implementation of further sustainable improvements
* Leading role within SWISS Technics regarding process engineering and modelling. Instruction and support of all departments with according know-how
* Modelling of processes within process tool (SPL – SWISS Process Landscape)
* As part of Process Optimization team: Management of improvement activities pipeline and according roadmap for SWISS Technics
* Participates in projects with SWISS Technics relevance upon request by management

Requirements

* Team player with positive attitude
* Driving personality with willingness to continuously improve
* University degree or apprenticeship and HF degree in combination with work experience, preferably in area of continuous improvement
* Very good language skills in German and English
* Kaizen, Lean and/or Process Engineering principles
* Workshop moderation / presentation techniques
* Project Management would be an asset
* AMOS know-how of advantage
