Description:

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a opening to join our Engineering organization.

Day to Day:

The purpose of the Process Engineer II (PE II) is to develop, implement and improve repair processes for turbine engine components. Additionally, the Process Engineer will support production and continuous improvement activities throughout the facility.

* Improve existing products and/or processes

* Assist in developing new processes

* Disposition of production discrepancies

* Participate in continuous improvement activities

* Write procedures, specifications and other technical documents with oversight

* Create, review, and revise technical drawings

* Train shop personnel

* Customer support technical liaison

* Work with minimal oversight and manage multiple overlapping activities

* Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties

* Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards

* Adhere to and promote Company Quality System

What you will do:

What you need to succeed:

* B.S. or higher in engineering discipline required, such as: Mechanical, Metallurgical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace.

* Computer Literate

* At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and procedures

* Experience with CAD software (KeyCreator, Solidworks, NX/ProE)

* Interpretation of drawings/models/blueprints

* Robot programming preferred, but not required

* Ability to identify and determine root cause of issues

* Familiar with turbine engine operation and/or materials used in turbine engine parts

* Familiar with non-conventional machining and manufacturing processes (EDM, Laser, Waterjet)

* Basic understanding of the entire manufacturing value stream
