Description:

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a opening to join our Engineering organization.

Day to Day:

* To work in Cell to develop PMFEAs, standards work instruction, training instructions.
* Monitoring reject rates and develops/ implements corrective actions. Lead process improvement and research for new technologies.
* Review customer engine manuals and other technical documents, and define actions/ plan for shop implementation.
* Train Shop personal, order equipment and materials.
* Write procedures and technical shop instructions to ensure compliance with regulations and Industrial standards.
* Provide Technical liaison to customer support team.
* Disposition of non-conforming material.
* To ensure that all direct staff comply with all company norms and regulations including those related to STPS and the company’s Health and Safety procedures.

* Project Management:The capacity to plan, implement, and maintain fiscally responsible programs/projects using appropriate skills, and prioritize projects across the employee’s entire workload.

* Reporting, Documentation, and Record-Keeping:The capacity to produce reports to document actions, keep records, and inform appropriate parties.
* Collaboration:The capacity to form partnerships and alliances with other individuals and organizations in order to enhance performance on the job.

C. Communication

* Educate:The capacity to use the environmental health practitioner’s front-line role to effectively educate the public on environmental health issues and the public health rationale for recommendations.
* Communicate:The capacity to effectively communicate risk and exchange information with colleagues, other practitioners, clients, policy-makers, interest groups, media, and the public through routine activities, public speaking, print and electronic media, and interpersonal relations.
* Conflict Resolution:The capacity to facilitate the resolution of conflicts within the agency, in the community, and with regulated parties.
* Marketing:The capacity to articulate basic concepts of environmental health and public health and convey an understanding of their value and importance to clients and the public.

What you need to succeed:

Additional Information:

* Formal education: degree Mechanical or Aerospace or Metallurgical Engineer.
* Experience: 3 years in similar position.
* Knowledge: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Problem solving tools likes 8D’s or A3’s, SPC, PFMEA, Time management skills and team work attitude.
* Desired Experience: Manufacturing industry, Process Control, Test/Measurement Equipment. CNC programming, PLC programming, project Management, Motor control programming, Robot Programming, ISO standards.
* Language: Bilingual, Spanish and 90% English.
* Other requirements: Skills in the use of Microsoft Office. Skill in drafting software (AutoCad / Pro-E, etc.).
