Excel are delighted to be working on behalf of a new client, a globally known name and a world leader in R+D and production of aircraft systems.
As part of our cooperation we have been given a number of exciting and varied roles for their purpose built UK facility - in this case we are looking for an experienced Product Data Manager/Process Manager focused on increasing efficiency within their product data stream - this includes handling information from design and test departments as well as real life customer experience and maintenance feedback.
AS well as continually developing the existing system and processes you will also play a large part in developing and introducing a new PLM system from the ground up.
This will not only require a good understanding of what end users need from the PLM system but also how it will be used and a focus on making it as efficient as possible.
You will also be involved in the rollout of the system so will need to be comfortable making business cases and influencing decisions at all levels, from shop floor through to senior management.
Although there will be very occasional requirements for travel you will mainly be working from Head Office in an easy to reach location in the West Midlands.
To be considered for this role you must be able to show previous experience of Process Management/Configuration and Product Life Cycle management along with a good understanding of Engineering principles and practices.
Previous experience of implementation and deployment of new processes, reporting procedures etc. would be an advantage, as would previous experience within an aero/automotive production environment but its your attitude and approach that we are really interested in here.
