Collins Aerospace Avionics Concepts, Practices, and Tools (CPT) organization is seeking a Technical Project Manager with a passion for problem solving and satisfying customers through the delivery of improvements to the global engineering ecosystem that provide compelling gains to the consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development efforts across the enterprise. The focus of this position will be to lead the organization through software tool initiatives, including the breakdown and management of work from strategies to actionable elements.

The successful candidate will have many of the following skills/experience:
Knowledge or experience in system requirements capture, design, and decomposition
Understanding of system validation and verification processes for technical product development
Working knowledge of software tool development/deployment, and a strong understanding of the relationships between all functional disciplines, including Systems, Software, and IT Infrastructure
Ability to adapt to change
Accomplish tasks on schedule
Experience with Agile teams
Collaborate with teammates to make the best decisions
Enjoy learning new technologies
Be self motivated to contribute in a work environment positively
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Able to work independently or within a team
Positive attitude and eager to learn and improve
Bring together key customer representatives to derive requirements, make trades, and determine the best path forward for software tool initiatives
Track, analyze, and report execution metrics as required to understand program status and performance
Generate estimates for software tool initiatives in a high-complexity environment
Represents the department to the engineering customer, as well as other internal and external parties
Effectively interact and build trust with team members from many different backgrounds, including engineering management, engineering teams, program management, and operations
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
