Role and Responsibilities
KBRwyle is seeking a professional with experience working directly with customers, working with a team, experienced in Oracle database administration and development. this role will work closely with the development team and other dbas, with customers to understand requirements, and Contributing to RMF and other documentation.
Act as a principle system engineer, supporting multiple software development projects. support multiple production and development Oracle Database instances. work with other oracle dbas and software developers in an agile environment. Assist with production code promotions, as necessary. evaluate new technologies, new database versions and approaches. Assist in recommending technical solutions that will benefit the project and customer.

Coordinate Database Architecture changes with the team.
*
Manage development Oracle server and databases.
*
Provide Server and database configuration recommendations to the customer, as needed
*
coordinate Code promotions for projects
*
participate in team meetings
*
Participate in customer meetings, as needed
*
Evaluate new and emerging technologies that will benefit the teams, projects, and customers.
*
Continually maintain knowledge of new and upcoming versions and features of Oracle and development tools
Qualifications
Requirements
*
Ten (10) years experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
*
10+ years of Oracle DBA and Development experience.
*
Experience evaluating tools to improve efficiencies
*
Experience working with a development team with diverse skillsets.
*
Good written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Skills
