Excel currently has full time permanent positions available in an exciting new role as a Principal Design engineer working in the UK.
Job Description
In general you will be required to propose and agree landing gear design conceptual studies, co-ordinate the technical quality of the work package activities, to act as the design technical focal point and mentor for the team.
The role requires;
· A practising expert in technical engineering
· Coaching engineers
· Representing the company as an expert in both external and internal projects
· Advising the company of appropriate technical developments moving forward
Requirements
At least HND or equivalent in an engineering or related discipline with a minimum of five years’ experience in a position of responsibility, in their chosen field of expertise.
Must have existing landing gear experience and be able to operate without supervision in a complex environment.
Must be willing to travel when necessary.
Additional Details
This is a full-time role with a salary range of £55,000 to £60,000, DOE.
