GET TO KNOW THE ROLE:
As part of our renewed focus on the guest experience, we have two newly created opportunity for a Premium Guest Concierge to work out of LAX Airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing a personalized service experience to Virgin Australia’s High Value Guests. You will escort their movements to and from flights in the international terminational, as well as onto any domestic connections as required. As such, you will need to monitor all guest facing touch points within the airport to ensure they have a seamless and efficient experience.
This is a shift work role scheduled around our flights into and out of LAX. Shifts will typically be rostered to meet our AM arrivals (scheduled between 6AM and 9AM) and send off our PM departures (scheduled between 9PM and 12AM). Additional day shifts will be required on some days as dictated by our schedule. You must be flexible with changes to this roster as dictated by changes to our flight schedules.
We have one full time opportunity (40 hours per week) and one part time opportunity (20 hours per week). Please be sure to indicate in your application form which opportunity is of interest to you.
LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU:
* Experience working with High Value Guests within an Airport environment.
* Strong knowledge of Sabre desirable, or a similar GDS.
* Knowledge of our Velocity Frequent Flyer program and our partner airlines advantageous.
* A history of creating a unique and rewarding experience for every guest.
* Excellent grooming and personal presentation.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel advantageous but not essential.
* Must be able to work a varied shift work roster as per our operational requirements.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
* Must be able to obtain airport security clearance by passing an extensive pre-employment criminal history and background check, which may include finger printing as required by Federal Law.
* Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
* Bilingual communication skills highly advantageous.
