Powerplant Manager

Zenon are currently searching for a Powerplant Manager for a permanent opportunity with a successful airline based in Central Asia

Reporting to the Director of Technical Asset Management, the Powerplant Manager is responsible for the management of a growing and modern engine fleet.  A key part of this role is the mentoring and development of a talented team of powerplant engineers.  Assisted by a contracted engine management organisation, you will ensure the optimisation of on-wing performance and off-wing engine management.

You will be responsible for and should have experience with:

 

• Engine shop visit management.
• Shop visit planning and work scope definition in line with engine condition, MTBR predictions and LLP life expiry.
• Engine fleet tracking and financial forecasting.
• Lease contracts, Maintenance Reserve analysis and claims.
• Long-term engine maintenance planning and budgeting.
• Engine MRO contract negotiation.
• Lease engine technical and commercial review.
• SB/AD and other OEM document review and analysis.
• Engine Management Programmes.

Candidate Requirements:

 

• Holder of an Engineering Degree or equivalent graduate diploma.
• Minimum 5 years engine management experience for an airline or similar.
• Readiness to share knowledge, lead and coach.
• Proven planning and administrative abilities.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
