Cardiff Aviation (CAL) are an independent MRO based in South Wales.

Role;

As a self-motivated, Aircraft Planning Manager, you will be using your experience within the Aircraft Engineering environment for overseeing & managing all maintenance planning activities, including maintenance package development, tactical and critical path maintenance planning development using scrum methodology, control and development of task database all in response to our customers’ requirements.

Key Responsibilities;

You will supervise and delegate resources as the situation demands to ensure the smooth running of the planning operation whilst meeting both the Part 145 requirements; in accordance with the planning processes and procedures; and the customer’s Service Level agreements.

Manage and develop the department and staff to meet and exceed the business goals, Ensure that the Capacity Planning is fully managed and in line with the business goals, Develop project management for all inputs, Maintain and develop a system of job cards preparation & updating, Accept accountability for all technical documentation issued per maintenance input, Prepare work-scopes, manpower plans and quotation for maintenance events, Maintain a system of work package preparation for all maintenance inputs to include all scheduled routine and non-routine maintenance, Maintain a system of work package archiving after maintenance completion in accordance with policies, procedures and regulation; Maintain a system of Technical records keeping for the required periods of time ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulations both internally and with contracted Operators, Produce daily and appropriate reports on performance on both department and maintenance inputs.

Putting safety and quality first, you will ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures whilst carrying out all Maintenance planning activities. You will uphold our values & culture and mentor those under your leadership.

 Requirements;

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning;
  • Have a proven ability to handle and process successfully large amounts of information and simultaneous tasks;
  • Be able to motivate, lead and mentor a team of people and interact with different stakeholders in the company;
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to motivate and lead by example.
