Job Role:

To be responsible for the planning and satisfactory execution of the maintenance of aircraft (contracted and ad hoc) carried out by Harrods Aviation.

The working hours are 42 per week worked as a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Primary duties and responsibilities:-

  • Reporting to the Technical Services Manager and Technical Services Supervisor.

 

  • Principal customer point of contact for maintenance requests.

     

  • Production planning of customer Ad-Hoc maintenance inputs in accordance with the Harrods Aviation Maintenance Organisation Exposition, including resource planning, identify parts / materials required, arrangement of third party services providers, pre-input meeting chair etc.

     

  • Production and management of aircraft work packs.

     

  • Act as point of contact during Ad-Hoc maintenance inputs, providing updates both internally and externally.

     

  • Work Pack review and circulation management.

     

  • Act as point of contact on behalf of Harrods Aviation and Customer whilst work pack is “in work” with the Engineering Department.

 

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the CAM & Technical Services Manager and / or Technical Services Supervisor / Deputy CAM

 

  • Conversant with the Company Procedures and have a good understanding of their content and work within the constraints of the Procedures.

     

  • Ensure all work carried out complies with the Regulatory Authority, Customer and Company Procedures in force at the time of the work being carried out.

     

  • Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and provide a detailed hand over of any work in progress.

All individuals must be able to demonstrate the following experience and knowledge in order to be considered for the role of Planning Engineer:-

  • Technical Services experience within a Part 145 or Part M environment.

  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145.

  • Knowledge of other NAA Regulatory requirements.

  • Experience of business aircraft would be beneficial.

  • 5 year checkable work history
  • Confirmation of right to work in the UK
