About The Job
Part research and new part number setups. Maintains expendable, repairable and rotable ownership and allocations. Support all aircraft maintenance and modification material requirements. Plan for all future material requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* I.P.C. research and new part number setups
* Maintaining expendable, repairable and rotable inventories
* Maintaining inventory investment within operating goals
* Manage scrap units
* Provisioning and managing material requirements for Aircraft and Component modification programs
* Assisting and training new planners and continued On-the -Job Training as necessary
* Participation in the Department Selection Process (if selected)
* Other work within the department as directed
The terms and conditions of this position are covered by the International Association of Machinists (IAM) Collective Bargaining Agreement
Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent and one (1) of the following:
* Certificate of completion of accredited aircraft maintenance school
* Possess a two (2) year college degree in an aircraft maintenance field
* 1 year experience in material management, or
* 2 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance and/or flight operations/logistics field
