Parts Expeditor

Position Description

• Transports daily, material, parts and product in an efficient manner to various cells and/or workstations throughout the facility ensuring delivery aligns with production schedule.
• Ensures kitting trays are complete and conform to work scope build requirements.
• Reads router to ensure proper identification and delivery of material and/or parts.
• Communicates to production planning team, Production Manager and supply cell issues and updates.
• Ensures WIP is organized and able to support next job demand 100% of the time at every workstation.
• Ensures facility organized and free of obstacles and debris.
• Ensures proper handling of material, parts and product
• Identifies and supports process improvement activities.
• Adheres to all workplace safety and quality guidelines and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of the proper handling of material
• Working knowledge of inventory controls and planning procedures
• Completion of grade 12 or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, transport heavy carts and stand/walk for 80% of the shift
