Blue Islands is seeking an Operations Duty Officer to join its team at Jersey Airport.

Blue Islands is a privately and independently owned Channel Islands based regional airline, which became a Flybe franchise partner in 2016, operating flights in Flybe branded aircraft between the Channel Islands and to the UK. Blue Islands operates an all ATR fleet comprising of ATR 72 and ATR 42 aircraft and employs 100 people across its bases in Guernsey and Jersey.

The Operations team is responsible for the co-ordination and monitoring of aircraft movements and staffing to ensure the safe and punctual operation of Blue Islands’schedule.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment where accuracy and effective decision making is key.

As a team player, you will need to work well under pressure and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with a high degree of IT proficiency.

While training will be provided, previous experience within the aviation industry is essential.

Based at Jersey Airport, this is a full-time position with a varied and rostered shift pattern.
