Operations Controller

DEA is an aircraft operator (holding a UK AOC) based at Retford (Gamston) Airport offering charter and specialised aviation services on a worldwide basis. With a fleet of Diamond Twinstar aircraft (DA42), maintained by our in-house Part 145 engineering team, the Operations team provide comprehensive support to our wide portfolio of airborne operations.

We are recruiting motivated, assertive and knowledgeable individuals to join our hardworking but friendly team. The successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to demonstrate a pro-active approach to problem solving. A positive can-do attitude is essential along with the ability to work well under pressure. Integral to success in this role is the ability to integrate within the team as well as being able to work under your own initiative. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and looking to further their career with a growing company that values professionalism, dedication and competence.

Responsibilities include:
 Preparation of pre-flight documentation including all aspects of flight planning
 Creating and filing ATC flight plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and Operations manual
 Ensuring compliance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL) schemes
 Proactively coordinating the flight program and arranging the appropriate logistics for crew travel
 Quoting for ad-hoc charters
 Working closely with other departments such as Engineering to ensure our schedule can be achieved

This role will require a level of flexibility in working patterns as shift working will be required at times.
Candidates shall have:
 The right to live and work in the UK
 A valid UK driving licence and their own vehicle
