At Bookajet we are looking to find our team members of the future. To implement our expansion we are seeking a high calibre candidate to fill the role of Operations Controller.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing daily tasks in collaboration with Operations team.
  • Follow established procedures to arrange and communicate flight schedules.
  • Maintain Flight Watch of company fleet.
  • Maintain and monitor crew duty in accordance with company and CAA regulations.
  • File Flight Plans in accordance with company procedures.
  • Request and amend over-flight and landing permissions.
  • Management of Air Traffic Control slots to minimise delays.
  • Arrange handling services for company flights.
  • Arrange crew accommodation and transport.
  • Ensure passenger catering requirements are arranged.
  • Assist in basic commercial quoting outside of normal working hours.
  • Processing Return Flight Documentation, as required.

Bookajet are looking for an experienced team member that can relish this kind of opportunity in a very competitive and rewarding industry. Reporting to the Ground Operations Manager, you will work in a team of Operations Controllers as part of the daily schedule, ensuring that the highest customer service standards and legislative requirements are met. This role is best suited to an experienced Operations Controller with worldwide flight planning and trip planning experience. The successful candidate will need to have an outgoing personality and enjoy being pushed to succeed in an ever changing operational environment. The calibre of candidate should meet and wherever possible exceed the following requirements:

  • A minimum of two years Operations Controller experience within a company holding an AOC
  • Demonstrable experience of world-wide flight planning, over-flight and permit requests.
  • Good knowledge of CAA legislation in relation to General Aviation.
  • Good knowledge of FTL regulations.
  • Experience of Rockwell Collins FOS and PPS Flight Planning highly desirable.
