Job Role:
ONE Record is the next generation data sharing standard in air freight that creates many opportunities for the industry. Reporting to the Head, Digital Cargo, the Engagement Manager core task is to ensure that the new standard gets communicated, adopted and deployed in the industry. The incumbent will reach out and work with industry partners to set up action plans and projects to ensure this. This requires strong networking skills and the ability to develop resources and partnerships where needed.
Responsibilities
* Develop, lead and manage the ONE Record outreach and engagement strategy and plan;
* Develop and manage implementation road map; track and report on progress against targets;
* Develop and manage implementing parties pipeline
* Develop and ensure usage of standard implementation process; develop best practice guide;
* Support the ongoing development the ONE Record standards and solutions;
* Support development and delivery of communications plan, including use of social media;
* In cooperation with APCS products, identify and support development of commercial opportunities
* Develop Strategic Partnership offering around ONE Record and engage existing and new partners;
* Support the development and delivery of IATA events (WCS, DCC, Hackathon) as well as events by partners.
Qualifications and Skills
* 10 years business experience, including at least 5 years in airfreight business;
* University degree in business, preferably in aviation, transport and/or supply chain topics;
* Experience with data and systems engineering process and IT teams;
* Outstanding networking and people skills, able to go to the top;
* Ability to develop development and resourcing strategies with partners;
* Experienced with commercial pipelines, managing all stages;
* Proven negotiation skills; track record of closing deals;
* This position will require flexibility and occasional travel.
