Airnorth, part of the Bristow group is now the major aviation operator in Northern Australia. The company operates over 300 scheduled RPT and charter departures weekly, to over 20 destinations in Australia and abroad. In addition to scheduled departures,
Airnorth operates contract and ad-hoc charter services for a wide variety of companies undertaking mining, defence and government activity.

Responsibility for the administrative tasks for the Engineering department. Various duties include but are not limited to: work-orders and work-packs; job costing; invoice generation; payroll records; time cards; office administration; logistical support
and; tracking and assist with general office work as may be required.

Responsibilities:

* Processing of incoming and outgoing mail
* Maintain all work-order folders - including setting up all new folders for each new workshop job and photocopying work-packs and worksheets on a daily basis;

* Administering Weekly and Monthly Engineering work orders as required and distribute;

* Administrating Trial Invoices for all completed jobs from previous week and Work-in-Progress at Month end – by the end of 2nd working day of new month and prior to entry of following months labour hours for presentation to the Engineering Manager for verification;

* Ensure any corrections required to trial invoices are investigated and amended;

* Reconcile and raise Final Job Costing invoices and close related work orders
* Administer Visitors Log, ensure visitors to the hangar complete log and are issued with a Visitors Pass. Liaise with DIA and reconcile monthly.

* Administer and reconcile Engineering Petty Cash

Applicants possessing the following will be highly regarded:

* Minimum of 2 years previous clerical experience within a computerised office environment

* Knowledge of, or exposure to, data entry within a job costing environment
* Timely and accurate data entry skills
* Sound communication and customer service skills
* Intermediate user of Microsoft Office software, including Excel/Word/Outlook
* Experience in office administration and procedures
* Ability to work independently and problem solve within an office environment
