L3 Technologies ISR Systems Mission Integration is seeking perm hire Network System Engineer to join our Mission Support team to lead and perform on a team that supports the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software system.
You will demonstrate success by:

Performs system and subsystem design/integration; technical risk assessments; technical planning; verification and validation; and supportability and effectiveness analyses of total systems throughout the system lifecycle.
*
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept; design; fabrication; test; installation; operation; maintenance and disposal.
*
Performs functional analysis; timeline analysis; detail trade studies; requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
*
Bachelor of Science in a technical or engineering field (EE, ME, CS, Physics)
*
This position requires an ACTIVE Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI, which requires US Citizenship.
*
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or M.S. with 3 years of relevant experience. Professional training and 13+ years of directly related experience may substitute.
Highly Desired:
*
Advanced technical degree preferred.
*
Experience in Network and Systems Support/Installation, Cisco and Brocade IOS, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP is desired
*
Experience with LAN/WAN routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) is desired
*
Experience with network packet inspection tools (WireShark, TCPDump) is desired.
*
Experience with Linux, Solaris/Unix, and MS Windows OS is highly desirable.
*
Experience with multicast routing is desired. Knowledge of MPLS and VPNs is also desired.
*
Experience with VoIP (h.323 and SIP) is desired.
*
Knowledge of ISDN/BRI and T1/E1 telephony is a plus.
*
Experience with SATCOM solutions/protocols is a plus.
*
Experience with HAIPE devices is also a plus.
*
Ability to analyze requirements for and design networks that support development and modification of airborne ISR platforms and associated ground support systems is a plus
*
Ability to read and understand engineering/aero documents and drawings is a plus
