Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be working with a small team building a variety of applications that support the day to day operation of our contract. The successful candidate will have at least two years of experience developing in C# using .Net and at least two years of experience working with SQL databases. The role requires the ability to work in an Agile environment where priorities change rapidly and often. This role will work with senior software engineers to maintain an existing suite of applications and to build our next generation of solutions.
The ideal candidate is someone well versed and experienced in developing well designed graphical user interfaces. Our application front end technology is XAML with a C# backend.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Has the ability to combine both design sensibilities and technical skills together
* Skilled at making something both look good and function at the same time
* Possesses the production skills to be able to produce visual designs and then turn them into .NET code
* Experience designing efficiencies into application graphical user interfaces for end users
* Two solid years of experience developing database applications using C# and .NET
* Solid oral and written communication skills
DESIRED SKILLS:
* Object Oriented design
* .NET development
* XAML
* Agile team development
* Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years related work experience
CLEARANCE:
* Must have current Secret or equivalent clearance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Ability to pass a mandatory Pre-Employment drug test.
