MRO Material Coordinator

Within SWISS Technics, the department MRO Services Management is responsible for all 3rd party provided MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) services on the airframe, engines and main components. As Material Coordinator you are responsible that the materials, support equipment and services required for the MRO events are sourced at the right value and delivered in time to the right location in order to ensure the timely dispatch of the aircraft.

Ihre Herausforderung

* Negotiate with MRO as well as internal interfaces with regards to material needed for MRO events
* Responsible for material pre-load to MRO following contractual delivery obligations, including issuing parts from stock by pickslip
* Monitor transfer and receipt of material for MRO events
* Responsible for purchase and timely supply of spare parts in check ground-time. Ensure that parts covered with pool contracts are ordered and delivered on time
* Monitor goods receiving, label booking for parts being installed aircraft during the check ground time
* Ensure material return delivery from MRO on time referring to contractual obligations
* Ensure continuous communication of material status to various stakeholders
* Cooperate with all relevant internal and external interfaces
* Verify the correctness of invoices in cooperation with accounting concerning prepayments, charging of suppliers and missing goods receiving bookings
* Identify, develop and improve methods and guidelines in the area of the supply chain with regards to MRO events
* Participate in meetings as required, related to MRO events

Ihre Qualifikation

* Successful apprenticeship in commercial area (‘KV’) or technical apprenticeship with commercial training (‘Handelsschule’ or ‘Technischer Kaufmann’) required
* Additional training in Purchasing / Supply Chain / Logistic
* More than two years of working experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain
* Working experience in the airline / MRO industry is an advantage
* AMOS experience is an advantage
* Technical understanding and high affinity of technical environment
* Good English (written and spoken), German knowledge is an advantage
* Demonstrates problem solving attitude
* Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
* Ability to manage stressful situations and conflicts
* Ability to multi-task
* Good communicator and flexible team player
* Self-driven personality, focused on results
* Willingness for seasonal duty travel and flexible working hours (weekends included)
