In your role, you will:

- Adhere to General Work Requirements
- Assist with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production
- Assist with drafting the necessary working and repair documents
- Learn to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request)
- Assist with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity
- Assist with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization)
- Assist with tool designs
- Assist in revision of shop floor layout and new manufacturing equipment requirements
- Assist with validating and approving the compliance of engineering drawings/documents, tool design concept, etc.
- Prepare manufacturing labor estimates and detail work sequences for each aircraft within the Service Center
- Develop and maintain Methods and Industrial Engineering procedures
- Analyze feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production
- Assist in drafting the necessary working and repair documents
- Analyze equipment and workstation production capacity
- Analyze requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR
- Determine requirements for and implements new manufacturing equipment
- Develop long range strategies for manufacturing processes and facility layout
- Monitor project workflow and adjusts personnel tasks to support project activities
- Define tooling requirements
- Produce detail installation instructions in a pictorial format
- Define optimal installation sequence for service bulletins, modifications and major inspections
- Work within an integrated work team (IWT) reviewing engineering drawings for manufacturability
- Act as focal within the Service Centers for all Engineering Change Request Management
- Implement continuous improvement projects and transfer lean knowledge to shop floor

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a minimum 3 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area
- You have a thorough knowledge of Project Management principles
- You have the ability to travel to the various Bombardier Service Centers for on-aircraft support and work various shifts
- You have previous experience with implementing continuous improvement activities and Kaizen events (preferred)
- You have planning or manufacturing experience within business/commercial aircraft service industry (preferred)
- You have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs (preferred)
- You have working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, for example, part 91, 121, 135, and 145 (preferred)
- You have SAP planning experience (preferred)
