Job Role:
Qatar Aeronautical College (QAC) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar. QAC currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAC also delivers courses in Pilot Training (MPL, PPL & ATPL), ATC, Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).
QAC invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join our team for the position of;
Meteorology Instructor
Minimum qualifications and experience required are:
- Master’s Degree in Meteorology/Atmospheric Physics / Mathematics
- WMO Trained to the level of a MET forecaster
- At least 5 years’ experience in teaching Numerical Weather Prediction or a comparable period of research in the field of Numerical Weather Prediction.
- At least 10 years work experience in a technical capacity as a Meteorology Forecaster
- At least 5 years work experience as an instructor in a Meteorological Training Institute
- Extensive experience in course design / development and delivery
- Working knowledge of WMO structure
- Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are
- required.
