Description:
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Metallographic Technician 3rd shift opening to join our Quality organization.
Day to Day:
* Using Cut off Saws to section samples to size.
* Mounting and Prepping Metallurgical Samples.
* Interface with other technicians to optimize workflow.
* Keeping a Clean Work Environment.
What you will do:
What you need to succeed:
* Ability to understand complex control systems and work instructions
* Mount coupons for metallurgical evaluation
* Polish samples using lab equipment
* Prepare metallurgical samples for review
* Use cutoff saws to section samples per cutting scheme
Additional Information:
* H.S. Diploma required college a plus
* High attention to detail
* Experience in a manufacturing facility preferably in the Quality department
* Excellent organization skills and willingness to learn other lab processes
