Job Description
CACI is seeking a cleared Mechanical Technician for the Fabrication Integration Fielding Facility (FIFF) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you are looking to grow in an organization: CACI would like to speak with you.
What You’ll Get to Do:
* Use sheet metal and machine tools such as shears, breaks, saws, milling machines, and lathes
* Use measuring tools, test instruments, and painting equipment
* Use electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
* Read and interpret technical documents and drawings
* Provide an understanding of methods used to produce fabricated parts
* Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
* Perform set-up and machining operations, on various machine tools such as vertical mills, lathes, drill press, multiple spindle drills and riveting machines
More About the Role:
You should be a skilled technician with the ability to perform various machining operations required to fabricate, assemble, install, and test a variety of components, materials, apparatus, and equipment.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
* An active SECRET clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
* A High School Diploma
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
* Be proficient with MS Office
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of manufacturing quality assurance processes
* Professional Certifications (e.g. AWS welding certificate, CSWA/P/E)
* CNC Programming
* CAD/ CAM Software experience
* Military service
