Your responsibilities:

• Technical responsibility for the development of complex helicopter systems, including activities for certification of components/systems for the Flight Systems

• Prepare and check design data for suppliers and production

• Preparation of test orders/reports for mechanical components/systems

• Support component, ground and flight test activities

• Write and review technical documentation for product development and certification

• Liaise with production line and external suppliers on a technical level

• Support production line and external suppliers during product serialization phase

Your qualifications:

• A degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent

• Relevant engineering experience with mechanical systems design, structural design, structural design, production engineering or similar is mandatory

• Professional experience with 3D CAD modelling (ideally with UG NX)

• Experience with coordination of development projects

• Good English language skills, both verbal and in writing

• Standard-, raw- and material knowledge

• Knowledge of aircraft integration standards and certification processes is desirable

• Experience in aeronautical sector is beneficial

• A working knowledge of German language will be an advantage

• Good team player skills, self-driven attitude and the ability to work to fixed deadlines
