Specific responsibilities of this role include:

* Product specification review and requirements assessment
* Support product SDRL item creation
* Drive product build to support program efforts
* Support production on fabrication of deliverable hardware and development hardware
* Support quality and manufacturing engineers in their execution of similar activities
* Support customer issues and investigation of product quality issues
* Support customer telecons and action item closure o
* Support firewire transition efforts
* Support APD, CFD Firewire and TFD production improvements
* Support all drawing change requests and track those through
* Create SRM’s as needed.
* Support Optical Fire Detector sustaining, F-18, P-8, JSF and IR and UV detector efforts.
* Adhering to all Collins Aerospace export, ethics and safety requirements

Education / Certifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.

Experience/Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

*

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.

* Must have GPA of 3.0.
* Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Hands on experience a plus
* Basic electrical knowledge a plus
