the reinforcement of our engineering team in Zurich, we are seeking a highly qualified and motivated
Mechanical Engineer (m / f)
Objectives for
the job:
Candidates
in this role will design applicable mechanical installations, design changes
and repairs for Textron Aviation products for the EASA Part 21J Design
Organization in Zurich, Switzerland. Candidates will also participate in the
preparation of proposals for customer modifications.
Main Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare engineering drawings for aircraft system
installations using computer based drafting tools (CATIA/CCD and/or AutoCAD)
* Prepare proposals for customer modifications
* Prepare engineering trade studies, functional
test procedures, certification plans, ground and flight test plans, stress
analysis and certification reports, and other engineering documents.
* Grow into or perform as a Compliance Verification
Engineer, make showings compliance for minor and major changes to FAA and
EASA regulations as necessary.
Key
responsibilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
in English.
* Demonstrated
leadership capabilities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Electronic drafting experience with CATIA-CADAM
Drafting (CCD) and/or AutoCAD desired.
* Experience with CATIA V5 and VPM desired.
* Experience in showing compliance to FAA and EASA
regulations is desired.
* Experience in Mechanical Design, Structural
Repairs and Stress Analyses desired.
