Position Description :
Responsible for the Mechanical Engineering aspects of Aeronautical Engineering pertaining to aircraft modifications with respect to mechanical/structural design of components, parts, assemblies and installations. Will be required to use computers to generate computer aided designs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge of aircraft structures.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience performing in a lead engineering role.
* Familiarity with MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
* Experience with Unigraphics.
* Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with multi-disciplined team consisting of engineers, technicians, manufacturing, program management and customers.
* Must be willing to travel if necessary.
Physical requirements of this job include extended periods of sitting at a workstation with keyboard usage and occasional walking to production area. May also involve climbing and crawling on the aircraft in potentially confined areas in order to review and inspect modification areas.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
