Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Mechanical Assembler 1 will be resonsible for the following...
* Perform mechanical assembly of custom control panels using mechanical drawings, measuring tools or freehand component layouts.
* Work with Hand tools, read a tape measure and measuring devices and limited power tools.
* Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO 9001, etc.) as well as Kaman Automation policies and procedures.
* Able to Read and understand tape measures (Metric and Standard) along with calipers, micrometers and dial gages.
* Marking, drilling and tapping holes in sheet metal material
* Marking, drilling and cutting access holes in sheet metal material
Qualifications
* Good Attitude and work ethics
* Have a Mechanical aptitude
* Capable of following Instructions
* Attendance is top priority
* Work on your feet for long durations
* Work overtime as required
* Works well with others and in a team
* Follows all safety rules and regulations
* Understand and comprehend common work instructions
Education
* High School or GED diploma
* Limited Industry experience in electro-mechanical components, Demonstrated basic project skills and experien
