Job Role:

Task Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish composite  repairs on the aircraft as well as on components in the shop
  • Ensure his (her) work is carried out following manufacturer’s procedures and maintenance practices
  • Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with the EASA and Cargolux procedures, as laid down in the Maintenance Manual Exposition (MME) and MEDPM
  • The position holder is responsible for signing off work using correct and approved documentation
  • Occasionally supervise less qualified maintenance and other support personnel

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Must have completed a composite apprenticeship or initial training course
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience (after apprenticeship or training course)
  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of manuals and technical drawings
  • Experienced  in composite repairs and fabrication of moulds
  • Good knowledge of bonding materials and their applications
  • Metal to metal bonding experience and aircraft bonding procedures
  • Experience on hot bonding methods
  • Be able to work independently, flexible and willing to work shifts
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Basic computer skills: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Working Conditions:

  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
  • Position based in Luxembourg
  • Flexible with working hours
