Mechanic All Levels Line Maintenance

Monarch Engineering; Line Maintenance provider of the year 2017; are in their 50th year.  We are a dedicated and customer focused company who are looking for Licensed Engineers to join our Gatwick Line Maintenance Team

 

As an experienced  Mechanic you will be responsible for all Aircraft maintenance and related activities in accordance with company procedures and as required under Part 145, and as delegated by Station Engineer/Shift Leader/Licensed Technician, as required in accordance with company procedures and under Part 145, and as delegated by the Line Manager.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• H&S procedures compliance.
• Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limits of his company authorisation.
• Monitor aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements and any other relevant technical requirements as detailed by the Shift Leader/Licensed Technician and ensure these requirements are complied with.
• Implement company policy and procedures in order to ensure smooth running, compliance and development of the station.
• Ensure Shift handovers are carried out each shift to ensure all relevant information is available to the oncoming shift/management.
• Liaise directly with customers in regards to all aspects of the line operation occurring both during period of duty and in anticipation of events to follow that may impact the operation.

Knowledge:

• You must have extensive knowledge of line maintenance activities

 Skills:

• Must be able to motivate and lead a team of mechanics to meet the operational requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Commensurate with Industry standard for Aircraft Mechanic

 Experience/Education:

• Experience in aircraft maintenance
• Use of AMOS essential.
• Microsoft office packages to an intermediate level
• English Language ICAO Level 5 (or equivalent) both in verbal and written including technical terminology

Basic Salary

Plus shift pay

Plus Approval payments

Plus overtime payments where applicable
