As a Materials Supervisor, you will supervise all aspects of shipping, receiving, logistics and inventory control of rail equipment contract of the Toronto area, in a multi-site environment. You will provide support and coordination as it pertains to material distribution and support, and promote safety within the Services Business Unit.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervise a team of Material Coordinators and Materials Handlers and ensure adequate data control activities within Bombardier MRP system, Configuration Management and Maximo environment;
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements as well as Bombardier Policy and Procedures;
- Ensure all equipment, tools and staffs are trained and compliant;
- Ensure adequate level of spare parts to support commissioning and warranty activities;
- Follow spare parts orders, repaired parts and performance of our suppliers;
- Coordinate and schedule material coordinators activities.

Qualifications

Key requirements:

- University Degree in Administration or Certificate in Operations and Logistics Management;
- Relevant experience in Administration, Supply Chain and Manufacturing;
- Experience in railroad and manufacture (considered as an asset);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP;
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
