Description
Associate Operations Coordinator – Material Handling/Warehouse

an Associate Operations Coordinator to support Material Handling processes,
resources, staffing and requirements as they relate to Operations. This position is located at our aerospace facility

Here are the key
responsibilities:
* Schedule and allocate resources
to meet expected work tasks / outputs within the department.
* Provide technical expertise on
setups, operations, processes and procedures, including the resolution of
unusual challenges.
* Insure effective cross-training of
team members to meet the needs of the business and provide development
opportunities for individuals.
* Perform functional hands-on duties
up to 50% of the time to insure business needs and turn-around times are met.
* Identify and drive process
improvement and Lean activities both within the department and across the
facility, focusing on reduced cost, increased quality and increased efficiency.
* Provide support to the stockroom
supervisor to implement a lean thinking environment.
* Assumes the role of stockroom lead
when supervisor is not present.
Skills/Abilities:
* Self-motivated
with a strong work ethic
* Strong
verbal and written communication skills
* Able
to lift up to 35 lbs.
Basic (Minimum) Qualifications
include:
* Associate’s
(AA/AS) Degree and 2+ years of Material Handling/Warehouse experience
OR
High School
Diploma/GED and 5+ years of Material Handling/Warehouse experience
* Due
to federal contract obligations, must be a US citizen or US Permanent
Resident (Green Card Holder)
Preferred
Qualifications Include:
* Material
handling or warehouse experience in the Aerospace or other regulated industry
(Medical device)
* Leadership/supervisory
experience
* Forklift
experience
* Proficient
on Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Experience
with MRP systems
* Proficient
with computer applications
* Strong
written and verbal communication skills
