About the role:

The Material and Logistics Officer will be responsible for the implementation and control of various logistics functions within the engineering operations. This includes planning, forecasting, provisioning and controlling of materials required to support aircraft operations.

Other key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

* Analysing, reviewing and recommending items to be carried in stock, parts for initial provisioning for aircraft, engines, components and shop servicing supplies.

* Monitoring, recommending and determining the optimum level of inventory safe-stock, re-order levels and the average monthly consumption.

* Providing full logistics and material provisioning to support AOG requirements and aircraft schedules for maintenance checks.

* Liaising with 3rd party Technical support and Maintenance providers, and proactively managing the short and long-term maintenance activities.

Who you are:

To be successful in this role you will have recent knowledge and experience of aircraft materials and logistics functions within commercial aviation. Highly organised, you have excellent time management skills and can prioritise effectively based on business needs.

Your skills and experience will include:

* You will have previous aviation experience

* Experience with Envision (formally Russell Adams), TRAX, and or other MIS systems

* Experience with MS office suite
