Master Scheduler 3

Overview:

Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules. Coordinates material movement between warehouse and production areas. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed; schedules equipment and personnel; confirms material supply and demands; prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements; coordinates interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Traffic, and Contract Administration; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders; analyzes inventory usage, scrap, and shrinkage, and coordinates any appropriate action. Assists management in resolving problems concerning over shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellation of orders.

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Bombardier Wing Integrated Schedules in support of the Program Integration team; specifically • Weight Savings Engineering and Fabrication • Test and Certification • Support to Change Board Scheduling and Baseline Engineering Release • Safety of Flight Schedules • Engineering Deliverables • Support for mitigating schedule disconnects

The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and six years of related experience. Plus: • Experience with Integrated Product teams • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project • Proven ability to mitigate schedule constraints
