Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Maskers apply tape to product parts prior to applying metal finishing chemical and trim tape on parts with a variety of different equipment and tools. Approximately 95% of the time tape is applied to parts and trimmed, and the remaining 5% is conducted through the use of tooling to mask a part. Mask areas of precision machined parts that are to be free of coating at end of processing cycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential functions are the core duties or tasks that the employee will perform. List the duties that are central to performing the most basic functions of the job.

1. Primary responsibility is to apply tape to all parts.
2. Responsible for racking and un-racking masked parts on carts.
3. Periodically may sand parts.
4. Cut silicone, masking tape or other specialized tape to use during the masking of certain parts.

1. Adhere to safety regulations.
2. Perform other duties as assigned.
3. May also be responsible for racking and un-racking product as well as final product inspection.

Ability to communicate, read, and understand English. Ability to follow precise instructions. Good Vision. Have no hand or finger movement restrictions. Must have excellent hand/eye coordination. High school diploma or equivalent with 0-1 years of related experience. Post high school coursework or professional certification preferred.
