Manufacturing systems engineer

The Manufacturing Systems Engineer Role

• Introducing new products into production to automotive standards using APQP techniques

• Introduction of new manufacturing processes

• Working within new product introduction teams to ensure correct product cost and to prevent customer defects

• Continuous improvement of existing equipment and support of maintenance engineers

• All equipment introduced must conform to current CE, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Lean, Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement:

• Support the company Lean program. (3c, CI Kaizen, SMED, TPM)

• Ensure corrective actions raised are dealt with in a timely manner

• Corrective / preventative actions to be completed to within 1 month of agreed plan.
