Description:This position provides technical support of Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama. The job duties include the design, development and implementation of manufacturing processes, detailed work instructions, special tooling/equipment and production floor support required to assemble and test a variety of military missiles. The role requires the ability to interpret engineering requirements from product data models, drawings, parts lists and specifications, conduct detailed failure analysis, develop root cause and implement the corrective/preventative actions, demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills including oral, listening, technical writing and visual presentations and have a high level of mechanical hands-on abilities.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.

-Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must have at least an interim secret security clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
-Working knowledge/experience of mechanical assembly, industrial processes, technical writing, and collaborative teaming.
-Fluent with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
-Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
-Manufacturing background with automation and shop floor experience.
-Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and wiring diagrams.
-Working knowledge/experience with ordnance assembly process methods and work instructions.
-Experience with Aerospace/Automotive factory automation equipment and processes.
-Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards and common military specifications.
-CATIA 5, CREO, Pro/E or equivalent CAD software experience.
-Working knowledge with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Rockwell Control Logix 5000 software.
-Previous experience with programming languages C, C#, C++, Visual C or Visual Basic, and National Instrument Lab-Windows CVI, Test-Stand and NI LabView software.

- Must be able to work all schedules/shifts (day shift, night shift and a weekend schedule).
