Reichert Technologies has a prominent position in the ophthalmic diagnostic marketplace. We are a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality medical diagnostic instruments and equipment for ophthalmologists, optometrists, and retail eye care centers.
The Manufacturing Engineer is primarily responsible for the maintenance of all production line related activities including drawing and work instruction updates for process optimization.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 3-5 Years of Manufacturing Experience. Knowledge and experience of a regulated industry such as medical or pharmaceutical is preferred.
• Green Belt in Six Sigma or Certified Lean Profession required; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to problem solve, read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings, use Microsoft-related computer programs, effectively communicate in verbal and written form, work with and train others, use Creo (AutoCad) software systems
• Understanding of ISO 13485:2016 standard
