We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2.

Role Summary/Purpose
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in product assembly and testing. You will contribute to the success of our manufacturing team by joining our team as a Manufacturing Engineer. You will work closely with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, purchasing, and production control staffs. You will own and be dedicated to the improvement of all aspects of our process and work in our IR imager labs. Opportunities exist in assembly, testing and troubleshooting of units and the system and subassembly level.
Essential Responsibilities
• Establish control and measurement of critical process steps
• Work directly with cross functional teams to optimize process parameters through experimental design
• Work with Production Staff and develop more efficient methods to meet daily requirements and process goals
• Support the weekly/ monthly production schedule for manufacturing
• Utilize various tools available to analyze and review yield and process improvements
• Participate in production meetings and presentations as directed by department program and upper management
• Test and Evaluate and troubleshoot of production and customer hardware.
• Troubleshooting of system level and subassembly hardware.
• Evaluating image quality and calibration of our IR Assemblies.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technologies or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience with troubleshooting electrical systems.
• You must have Strong troubleshooting, creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong analytical and sound decision making skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to work independently with little or no direct supervision and collaboratively to achieve company goals
