In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring crew plans are coordinated and all conflicts or issues are resolved or have contingency plans prior to hand over to Day of Operations Crew Control. This is a critical role in the operational structure for improving the operations plan, avoiding last minute and potentially costly solutions to planning issues and recovery from major disruption. The Pre-Operations Team will take control of the commercial schedule and crew rosters in the pre-operations time window and manage any changes and requests that affect these plans. This includes coordination with the commercial, engineering, cargo corporate planning, and ground handling teams, dealing with charter requests and managing roster crew changes.
Key accountabilities include:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelors Degree combined with at least eight years of job-related experience. A minimum of five years should have been gained in an airline. You will have highly developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills and will need to fully understand commercial schedules, engineering, crew rosters and OCC functions and must have prior experience in an airline/crew management system such as AIMS.
