Description

Reporting to the Head ONE Order Program, the ONE Order implementation Manager, is responsible to lead and coordinate ONE Order pilots and industry capability adoption activities.

Working closely with airlines and major industry IT systems providers (Passenger Service Systems, Revenue Accounting and Ground Handlers), he/she is establishing the pilot development and monitoring industry capability toward modernization envisioned by ONE Order.

Responsibilities

* Manage engagement activities with major industry stakeholders (airlines, PSS providers, Revenue Accounting and Ground Handling System) to drive ONE Order initiative
* Communicate consistently across various industry committees (i.e reports, project updates, case studies, etc)
* Deliver specific industry campaigns to validate adoption and benefits of new standard in collaboration with IATA regional offices
* Facilitate industry pilots activities related to ONE Order standard development:
* Develop and maintain pilot documentation (charter, plan)
* Report internally and externally on pilot program
* Present industry findings in appropriate forums (Implementers forum)
* Main point of contact internally and externally for ONE Order pilots
* In charge of industry case studies on ONE Order

* Implement, monitor and manage the capability report of the industry on ONE Order readiness
* Analyse impacts across the industry and deliver transition plan, roadmap and industry strategy paper toward ONE order vision

Qualifications and Skills

* University Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 7 years in air transport industry with experience of airlines systems environment and a good understanding about IATA New Distribution Capability (NDC) initiative. Understanding of the ONE Order initiative is preferred but not mandatory.
* Proven ability to develop concise articulated reports and to present at different management level within organizations (externally or internally)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good capability to work consistently with multiple stakeholders
* Positive attitude, willingness to drive industry transformation and ability to work internationally across various cultures
* Ready to travel worldwide
* Fluency in English, a working knowledge of other languages desirable.
* The candidates must possess the IATA values.
