Role Purpose

Manage and accountable for airport operational matters for MAB at KLIA station and serve as secondary liaison with airport operator, government authorities and agencies and other stakeholders.

Key Accountability

Manage the performance and operational activities undertaken by the ground handler at KLIA to ensure compliance to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Analyze expenditures and other financial information and manage budgets for cost containment, service improvement and efficiency.

Execute the safety and policy development, deployment and subsequent communication/engagement initiatives for the operational policies, in order to develop a consistent culture of compliance and best practices.

Work closely with the Regional Head to execute the overall strategic direction of the respective regional operations in view of the Group’s strategic direction

Qualification

Degree - Any related field

Work Experience

7 years - Minimum 5 years in aviation industry

Minimum 3 years in airline management role

Minimum 1 year in airport services

Skill & Knowledge

Organizational, negotiation and decision-making skills are necessary

Ability to work under pressure, think strategically and adapt to the changing needs of the business

Strong project management skills especially on monitoring and control

Ability to produce detailed reports/analysis as tool for decision making for the management
