Task Responsibilities:

• Manage the staff responsible for the maintenance of the training equipment within flight operations and M&E training departments
• Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, operational requirements, customer requirements and company policies and instructions
• Monitor changes to government/company regulations and standards and if necessary, implement appropriate changes in order to stay compliant with same.
• Determine and implement updates/upgrades to equipment and/or facilities to keep pace with technology and methods applicable to training and customer requirements
• Monitor obsolescence issues and determine most cost effective approach for uninterrupted operation.
• Part of the simulator internal quality review team, liaise with auditors concerning quality findings generated by Audit inspections. Monitor and ensure implementation of corrective actions to Audit discrepancies within the department.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

• Prior experience related to the maintenance of flight training equipment
• Familiarity with EASA CS-FSTD(A) regulation a definite asset
• Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and MS Project
• Ability to manage labor and financial resources
• Familiarity with legal and financial documents/terms
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in decision making, planning, organizing and executing work assignments

Working Conditions:

• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• Position based in Luxembourg
• Occasional travel may be required
• Work hour flexibility may be required at times (department operates 24/7)
