About The Job

This job is a member of the Fleet Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for supporting management in developing and managing the Maintenance Process Improvement working groups.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

* ​Works with maintenance management to develop, enhance, and maintain various types of analytical models and ad-hoc reporting tool

* Assists with the development of critical performance measurement tools and automated reporting to support business justification of process improvement projects

* Supports statistical interpretation, ongoing process maintenance, and presentation of results and findings

* Works directly with IT as business owner to create and maintain Maintenance applications

* Supports management in developing and managing the Maintenance Process Improvement working groups

* Works with maintenance management to develop, enhance, and maintain various types of analytical models and ad-hoc reporting tools

* Presents findings and suggest solutions from data analysis

* Generates and updates SOPs for new and existing line maintenance applications

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* ​​​​High School diploma or GED equivalency

* 5 years experience in Line or Heavy Maintenance/AMT, Crew Chief, Management

* 2 years experience in Application Development/Object Oriented Programmer

Preferred Qualifications

* ​​​​Bachelor’s Degree in related field

* Detailed understanding of Line and Heavy Maintenance operations

* Experience in Six Sigma Lean Process improvement or other TQM tools

* AA Airframe and Power plant license

* Knowledge of the following:

* Aircraft Maintenance Operations

* Six Sigma / Lean Processes qualification

* Agile

* JavaScript

* C#

* HTML

* Angular

* jQuery

* Ability to understand financial implications of operational decisions and develop cost-benefit studies

* Ability to work independently with minimal direction, as well as function effectively as a member of a team

* Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and work effectively in an unstructured environment

* Ability to work with IT business analyst(s) to convert desired business process improvements into comprehensive technology solutions

* Skilled at managing and prioritizing assignments in order to meet deadlines
